How to read the state guides
Lewis publishes a disclosure table for each graduate nursing program with two columns: whether it is authorized to enroll students from a state, and whether the program meets that state's licensure requirements. Enrollment is authorized in the same jurisdictions for every program. The licensure column differs: the MSN and BSN to DNP NP tables mark Hawaii, Indiana, Massachusetts and Mississippi as not meeting requirements, while the certificate tables mark Connecticut instead of Hawaii.
Lewis also warns that clinical rotations can carry restrictions in a given state, and its FAQ notes that out-of-state students can hold an Illinois license and complete the practicum in Illinois. The state authorization guide has the full tables.

What if I move after I enroll?
Lewis's public pages set no specific rule, but enrollment and licensure status differ by state and a practicum outside Illinois may need extra permission. Talk to graduate admissions and your track coordinator before you move.
Is the U.S. Virgin Islands authorized?
Yes, Lewis's disclosures include the U.S. Virgin Islands among the 18 jurisdictions. This site has no separate guide for it; the state authorization guide covers the rules.
Does an Indiana or Wisconsin license work for Lewis practicums?
Lewis's MSN admission asks for an RN license in Illinois or your state of practice, and your license must be valid where the practicum happens. Each state guide covers the license picture for that state.
